SCOPE AND CONTENTS

A miscellany of liturgical texts consisting of two gatherings of different dimensions and length, written in at least two different hands. The first gathering of 40 leaves contains miscellaneous liturgical texts primarily in K'iche', including a translated Creed and Salve Regina. The second gathering of 17 leaves contains prayers, hymns, and other liturical texts in Latin, K'iche', and Spanish. Also includes a chart of the general and movable feasts, a litany based on the names of the Virgin (fols. 45r-47r), and a calendar entitled "Tabla general de las fiestas" with dates from 1870-1878 (fols. 61v-63r).
