CIP data

New AACR2 headings are generally based on usage in the item cataloged, not on CIP headings (with the exception of Canadian CIP). However, fuller names and dates found in CIP data can be used as additions in formulating the heading, and the forms found may be used in formulating cross references (Example is hypothetical):
